Palm Springs City Councilmember Chris Mills Endorses Russ Bogh for State Senate
Mills calls Bogh the "clear choice" for the Desert and Riverside County
January 6, 2010
Palm Springs City Councilmember Chris Mills has announced his
endorsement of Riverside County businessman and former State Assemblyman
Russ Bogh.
"Republican Russ Bogh is the clear choice to represent the desert area, and
all of Riverside County in the State Senate," said Palm Springs City
Councilmember Chris Mills. "He has a proven record of fighting taxes and
government waste. He knows what it takes to create jobs and work within a
budget - because he's done it in his own business and in the State
Legislature."
Praised by The Riverside Press-Enterprise for a "solid record of legislative
accomplishments," conservative Republican businessman Russ Bogh has served
Riverside County residents in the State Assembly from 2001-2006. During
that time he was selected by fellow Republicans to serve as the Assembly
Republican Caucus Chairman -- the second ranking Republican leader in the
Assembly. Bogh was also the co-founder and former Chairman of the Inland
Empire Caucus, a bi-partisan organization of Inland Empire legislators.
The special election primary for the 37th Senate District will be held
Tuesday, April 13, 2010.
