Desert Hot Springs Mayor Yvonne Parks Backs Russ Bogh for State Senate
January 14, 2010
Desert Hot Springs Mayor Yvonne Parks has announced her support of
conservative Riverside County businessman and former State Assemblyman Russ
Bogh.
"As a longtime resident of Riverside County, Russ Bogh understands the
unique issues facing our desert communities and he'll make us a top priority
in Sacramento. As a local businessman, he knows how to create jobs and
balance a budget- two things we desperately need during these tough economic
times," says Mayor Yvonne Parks.
Russ Bogh served Riverside County residents in the State Assembly from
2001-2006. During that time he was selected by fellow Republicans to serve
as the Assembly Republican Caucus Chairman -- the second ranking Republican
leader in the Assembly.
A longtime resident of Riverside County, Russ and his wife, Sheri, reside in
Beaumont along with their three children.
The special election primary for the 37th Senate District will be held
Tuesday, April 13, 2010.
Mayor Yvonne Parks joins Former Sheriff Larry Smith, Palm Springs Councilman
Chris Mills and many others in supporting Russ Bogh.
