Beaumont Mayor and City Councilmembers
Endorse Russ Bogh for State Senate

Beaumont Mayor Brian DeForge and City Councilmembers Roger Berg, Larry Dressel, and Jeff Fox are supporting conservative Republican Russ Bogh for State Senate.

"Republican Russ Bogh is a long-time Riverside County resident and local businessman with a proven record of creating jobs, fighting taxes and cutting government waste," said Brian DeForge, Mayor of Beaumont. "State government needs a good kick in the pants to help get our economy moving again. Russ is committed to do just that - and we have absolute confidence that he can, and will."

Russ Bogh served Riverside County residents in the State Assembly from 2001-2006. During that time he was selected by fellow Republicans to serve as the Assembly Republican Caucus Chairman -- the second ranking Republican leader in the Assembly.

A longtime resident of Riverside County, Russ and his wife, Sheri, reside in Beaumont along with their three children.

The special election primary for the 37th Senate District will be held Tuesday, April 13, 2010.
